This is a very mom and pop style hotel, so don’t expect any push touches. Rooms are located above the cafe. They’re smaller basic, but have all essential amenities (though no fridge unfortunately). Mike, who manages the property, was very pleasant and helpful. He went out of his way to correct a booking mistake I made - totally above and beyond. All of my staff interactions were lovely. There’s a positive energy to the place.
The breakfast is small but very good. Whoever supplied their croissants and pastries - excellent. Otherwise standard continental fare: yogurt, cereal, eggs, cold cuts and breads. The breakfast music is very well chosen. Also, the cafe is really nice as a whole.
The location is the real gem here. Located on the main church square, anything you’re looking for (including the train) is with a ten minute walk. There are countless restaurants, cafes and bars near by. By evening, things are usually pretty quiet unless there’s an event in the square. Remember to close your windows at night - seagulls get up at four, and they can get loud.
