Some good: Close to uptown, hotel was new, full kitchenette in the room, spacious room for a standard, front desk staff were kind, the bar/restaurant on property was good.
Some bad: Not sure what voodoo you need to do to get the A/C to kick on but it didn't seem to come on when we thought it should based on the temp in the room. You weirdly need to put a physical room key in a slot in the room to get power to the lights (if you get a digital key this is irritating cause you need to go back to the desk to get a physical key). There weren't enough towels and getting some extra was challenging.
Some ugly: You had to valet park; we waited an hour before we were escorted to our car because there were not even close to enough people working to get everyone checking out on Sunday. The valet is managed/run by a 3rd party so the hotel claims they have nothing to do with it. 100% fail. It's a terrible customer experience and it's the one you're left with when you leave. Finally the "free" breakfast - it's terrible. The food was of the lowest possible quality available, the layout of the breakfast area made absolutely no sense, we were provided plastic utensils, everything about it was terrible.
