A “meh” stay
Dislikes: -breakfast was just fruit and bread/jam, nothing else -pillow cases had weird/uncomfortable beads -airport shuttle offered, however Uber is MUCH cheaper -the body wash and shampoo were pretty much empty Random comments: -it’s in a residential area, and there’s not much around; you have to walk about 20 minutes to get to a small plaza

Even better than expected
This place was better than expected! The courtyard is a nice place to hang out to do the organisation part of travel. Breakfast was simple but tasty, fresh fruit, some bread and butter and coffee. The family room was nice, gave us space, with comfortable beds. The only issue I had with the place was our shower had very little water pressure, or heat, but this appears common for the heat on demand showerhead I am commonly seeing in Costa Rica.

Colorful
We did several communications with them with questions about the hotel and most of them were never answered. The room they gave us on the first floor was not air conditioned as we had asked for. The A/C room was on the second floor and one of the guests is disabled and could not climb stairs. We did love the decor, the colors and the tropical plants.

There was absolutely nothing unique at this property. Traveling from NYC and arriving to this lodging has me still in disbelief that Expedia took my hard earned money to stay here. No hot water, broken fixtures, a curtain covering a wall for a closet, and the door opens up into the dining room and front desk. This was a horrific experience. I have no trust or confidence anymore when booking.
