The rooms are quite run down and no elevators to help move stuff up to the room. We were on the top floor, which is 3rd. One pool was pretty clean but they often didn’t clean the other one. I used that a lot since it had shade. Right on the beach, so prime location. Staff aren’t very well trained and are unwilling to help. They wouldn’t help us move our cases to another hotel we booked down the road to be with friends (800meters away, difficult messed up roads and hot). After they take your money they don’t really care very much. I feel it used to be worth the money but now with how run down it is it’s probably a better idea to take somewhere cheaper and similarly run down, like most of the island is. Was a decent trip. Beach was well maintained on this section. After a power outage for 18hrs (regular on this island) the hotel didn’t provide any solutions for food so we could only eat random garbage from 7/11 instead and on that day after paying for our drinks we got stuck paying the bill again, so double charged and refused to actually go find out that we had already paid (was only 400baht, so not a massive issue). Would do koh samui again but not this hotel. Needs more training and refurb.
