Check-in was wonderful. The woman at the desk was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean, but the accommodations were extremely outdated. There was only 1 hanger in the closet. The floor took a definite shift down the closer you got to the window. The chairs for the high-top table were broken. Water stained drop ceiling tiles at the door.
Floor slopes toward window. The rungs on the chairs are broken.
Rust along base boards.
One hanger and fridge that whined like a puppy.
Unpaved parking lot right on the beach.

Very sketchy
Great view that’s about it. When checking in they have narcan hanging on the wall behind desk only to later find out they house homeless people in the winter that just hang out in the rooms and on the decks and garbage bags at the bottom of the stairs. The rooms have no coffeemaker/ microwave.

Not a place for a solo female traveler
This motel is a little less than advertised - it's a barebones motel in a beautiful location with no amenities. I arrived late in the evening and was provided a key and map to my room via a dropbox, but the room was just a bed, a curtain for a closet, no wifi info and the heat took a few hours to kick on so I crawled into bed wearing a hat, mittens and scarf. The deadbolt also didn't fully lock so as a solo female traveler, I placed a chair in front of the door. Wifi instructions weren't given either. The room was fairly clean despite some dust (to be expected in the off season) and some crusty gum next to the bed on the floor. But the view in the AM was stunning and you can't beat the waterside location. However, I cut my 2 night stay down to 1 and when I went to go checkout, the employee at the desk seemed incredibly annoyed that I dared to open the locked office door in the middle of the day and didn't ask why I was cutting my trip short. There were also a lot of people hanging around outside the motel in their pajamas. The motel has its place and is what it is, but I would not suggest this to be the go to place for a solo female traveler in the off season
