This motel is a little less than advertised - it's a barebones motel in a beautiful location with no amenities. I arrived late in the evening and was provided a key and map to my room via a dropbox, but the room was just a bed, a curtain for a closet, no wifi info and the heat took a few hours to kick on so I crawled into bed wearing a hat, mittens and scarf. The deadbolt also didn't fully lock so as a solo female traveler, I placed a chair in front of the door. Wifi instructions weren't given either. The room was fairly clean despite some dust (to be expected in the off season) and some crusty gum next to the bed on the floor. But the view in the AM was stunning and you can't beat the waterside location. However, I cut my 2 night stay down to 1 and when I went to go checkout, the employee at the desk seemed incredibly annoyed that I dared to open the locked office door in the middle of the day and didn't ask why I was cutting my trip short. There were also a lot of people hanging around outside the motel in their pajamas. The motel has its place and is what it is, but I would not suggest this to be the go to place for a solo female traveler in the off season
