APA hotel UENO EKIMINAMI is a wonderful, clean, reasonably priced hotel. My husband and I were very happy to have chosen this hotel. It’s very clean, great location, lots of dining and shopping options nearby. It’s also very close to the train station. Highly recommended.

Well situated hotel near Ameyoko Shopping district. First trip to Tokyo, so the simplicity of easy walk to the Ueno station (as well as other lines) and Keisei Skyliner was perfect. Ueno Park and pond nearby. Older neighborhood, but perfect for budget traveller not needing the flash and glitz of say Shubuya or Shinjuku. The Beef Stand restaurant downstairs breakfast buffet was simple, but very convenient. Staff were efficient and friendly. Would easily stay here again on next visit.
