The hotel is very nice and traditional Japanese. The staff is very nice and helpful. The Onsen is great. The onsite restaurant is wonderful and probably the best meals I had in Tokyo. It is also walking distance ~15 min from the center of Shinjuku. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Absolute gem of a hotel! We stayed here as a couple and loved it. Yes the rooms are quite small and it would have been great if they were a bit bigger but I would 100% stay here again. We loved the onsen and all of the amenities in the room. The room itself was also quiet and we really couldn’t hear much from outside at all.

This hotel was impressive in many ways. It has great design with a blend of traditional Japanese with modern aspects. The check in was completely self service and very efficient (unlike other attempts where it doesn’t work and someone has to intervene). The city views from the room and penthouse were good. Japanese breakfast was the best we had during the whole trip.
