Great room, very clean and good amenities. Easily walkable to all the city area, and train station. Lots of restaurants and bars within a minute walk. Only downside was it was a little loud until 2 am from the bar down below, but honestly not that bad if you’re prepared for that. Overall I would recommend and stay again!

Very central for bars etc. And a lovely courtyard with restaurants and live music at weekends. They have a convenient parking deal not far away. A beautiful building with excellent rooms. The breakfast was amazing and came with a great deal included with our room. We will definitely be staying again. .

We had a fantastic stay. The staff were so nice, we were celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary, our room was upgraded, and we were given a free drink at the bar. We felt so welcome, the staff were amazing. Would defiantly stay here again. Thank you for looking after us.

The hotel was well situated and near the rail station and theatres. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was very good. The hotel is on a main road but was reasonably quiet. The bed was comfortable with a very snuggly duvet and pillows that you could sink into. Unfortunately, the room itself was average with tired furniture, stains on the carpet and some mould around the shower door although it should be said that overall the room appeared to have been cleaned to a good standard. There was a replacement tile on the bathroom floor that didn’t match and was slightly raised which was uncomfortable to walk on. The shower itself took approximately ten minutes to warm up on the first day and on the second day, it was warm for the first shower but did not warm up properly at all for the next person.

Good and helpful staff who were pleasant and professional. Tasty breakfast downstairs with plenty of food. It was busy with a pleasing atmosphere. Bedroom was fine - first one a bit dark so reception changed for a lighter one. This was overlooking the square which on a Saturday night has loud music until 2am. Perhaps not a good change. Hotel attractive looking with a bit of history. Very central location so very easy to walk everywhere.

Room was a bit ‘tired’ cracks in the tiles on the bathroom floor. Was expecting it to be better looking at the pictures of the hotel online. Room felt quite small. Tv was really high on the wall so difficult to watch. Great location though.
