The Hanzomon Monterey hotel was a great value for the money. We appreciated several amenities such as a strong shower head (I have thick hair and need good power), the omelette bar at the buffet and the coffee maker in the room. The staff were extremely helpful and the beds were very comfortable. We found the train station across the street extremely convenient and there were several really yummy restaurants nearby, including a Starbucks, for those who like bitter coffee. It was a nice quiet area, which is what we wanted.

This was a great pick as the hotel has a good amount of space, beds are comfortable, and bathroom is spacious. Location is beside a subway but other than 7/11 and a handful of restaurants it may not be the best for walking around but that’s ok. Great value.

The room and bathroom were extremely clean and tidy and I thoroughly appreciated the incredible water pressure. The room was very small but that is typical for Japan rooms as we booked a base double room. The location was absolutely perfect because we could just walk out the front door of the hotel across the street and immediately walked down to the subway tunnel. We also appreciated the location as the hotel was in a very quiet neighborhood yet there were a couple of restaurants, coffee shops and a convenience store all within a few steps.

Very clean hotel with an AMAZING LOCATION! The streets are nice and quiet and very close to both a 7/11 and family mart for snacks. Hanzomon station is quite literally in-front of the hotel so very convenient travel, Shibuya is just 4 stops away!

A brilliant hotel in a lovely area of Tokyo with an easy access to the underground that will take you anywhere in the city. We had a large, comfortable room overlooking a nice courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was not too loud. The room had a coffee maker and a kettle. Coffee, tea and complimentary water bottles were replenished daily. The room and the bathroom were spotless and the staff were exceptionally helpful. There were also complimentary juice and soft drinks and bath salts and cream sachets for guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
