The room was very clean and comfortable. The only negative was the television would turned off randomly and the Netflix did not work. Good hot breakfast.

The hot tub didn’t work, the main reason we chose this hotel. The rooms were clean a d the beds were comfy. Very spacious rooms but the hotel seemed dark and dingy and the elevator was very noisy too.

We were in West Des Moines for a basketball tournament and chose this hotel because online, it looked great. The hostess was very nice and at first glance, the hotel looked inviting. Our perception changed as we entered our room. The lighting in the room was horrible. The light in the bathroom didn't work. My husband took it out and went to the front desk, but was told there were no replacements, so we literally had no light in our bathroom. One of the nightstand drawers wouldn't close, making it hard to get out of bed without hitting our leg on the drawer. The food was underwhelming, not at all like the pictures advertised. The final straw was that housekeeping never bothered to stop in our room the entire weekend we were there.

Arrived late at night and was given a handicapped room, which is usually perfectly fine, but this room was a disappointment. The tv, which swivels out, had cords handing down & looked disheveled. There were white marks on the carpet & couch. It simply didn’t feel cleaned or kept up. The heater wasn’t working correctly and took hours (in the middle of the night) to regulate. We’ve been staying here as a stop for years, but it’s time to try a new hotel, sad but true.

There were no rooms available when we arrived. The websites and room availability are not kept current. Supposedly there were 5 rooms available when we booked, and yet none when we arrived 15 minutes later.

Room was bright and clean, but the tub and bathroom sink drains were very slow and the ceiling light took more than a minute to turn on properly. The pool and hot tub were fun but the pool area was not well cleaned and the jets for the hot tub were not working properly.
