    Well was a little disappointed in the food and the alcohol. Very stingy on both. However we came to celebrate our anniversary and the little extras they did were a very sweet touch. Some of the service was lackluster while others were great. Based n the recommendation from a fried I was disappointed.

    First Timer

    This was my first experience at Sandos and my first experience at an all exclusive in Mexico. Overall a wonderful experience - the staff were all respectful, helpful and generous. I found the food to be a bit mixed. For instance, the pizza station at the pool area wasn't so great, but you could get other delicious food items, including fish and shrimp tacos, and chicken fingers, etc. I ordered a burger once late at night from room service and it wasn't too special, but the steak from the Italian restaurant was excellent. First thing that happened when I arrived was I was greeted with champagne and assistance, but also asked to schedule a 90 minute vacation club presentation. I said yes and went the next morning and it wasn't a bad experience overall. They didn't exert overt pressure, however they also didn't extend their deadline (Immediately) for the initial incentives offered to join. The ocean is deceptively dangerous next to the hotel but beautiful. Lots of warnings not to swim there, but you can walk for a mile either direction and enjoy beautiful scenery and other resorts. The alcohol they serve typically (margaritas, etc.) must be watered down quite a bit because you can drink a lot and not feel buzzed. But you can also order whiskey on the rocks and other drinks that are stronger. Tips are not really included, though it says they are. Plan to tip $10-$20 a day for drinks and food service at the pool. Fun entertainment and gorgeous views!

    Beautiful view, horrible food and drink

    Food and drink but a stigma on the beauty of the resort. Very little was punctual: pizza opens at 12, they’d often not take orders until 1230. Sushi only open 2 hours and ran out the few times we ordered 1.5 hours in. Same with other dining options. So So So much salt. Very limited room service menu and much of all restaurant menus is fried or bastardized American dishes. No authentic Mexican cuisine. Every room service order came with at least one error, which is frustrating when you’re feeding kids. Coffee was atrocious. Nearly all liquor is very low quality. e.g Jack isn’t available and all other options are lower grade. Any mixed drinks or smoothies are made from syrups, not fruit. Juices are made from concentrate with sugar added. Kid’s club is a joke, when it’s open. Most of the wait staff at pools was excellent, but they didn’t have enough people when pools were full. Very disappointed in a stay that cost us over $2000US per person.

    This was my 2nd time at this resort, it will be my place to stay in Cabo. Love to fact it’s on pacific side for beautiful ocean views and has a bridge to cross over for beautiful marine and sea of Cortez view. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, There are 4 restaurants to choose from, great nightly shows, several pools, liked the adult pool the best, lots of fun activities at pool makes for fun. The location is really close to everything, but really don’t need to leave resort unless you want to do excursions.

    Great resort for couples.

    Great resort, doing everything they can to accommodate guests during the pandemic. Only thing we did not like was the pizza place. They make fresh pizza's during the day between pool 1 and pool 2. The soot form the pizza oven sometimes lands in pool 2 and on the guests/belongings. The pizza is poor quality and they should just give up on it. I would suggest making that area a taco stand.
