The hotel is in a great location, right next to a metro station and walkable to the beach and a number of cafes and restaurants. The neighborhood is lively but also low-key. The breakfast at the hotel is ample and can sustain you through the afternoon. Staff are helpful, and the rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day. They were also nice about letting me check out late for a late night flight. The hotel rooms are rather dated. The mattress was lumpy and I would wake up with a backache. That is probably my biggest issue with the hote. Also, I think the hotel should provide at least one bottle of water in the room-- instead, they charge almost USD 2 for one small bottle. The Wi-FI connection could get spotty. In sum, if you are looking for a convenient location, that is a little bit residential but still easy to get around from, this isa good choice. Beyond the appeal of the location, it's fine, but not great.

Pool area looks nothing like the pictures. It is very run down. Area does not appear to be safe with a strong smell of urine outside of the hotel. Food in hotel (both breakfast and dinner) are good.

Whilst the stay was good and the breakfast was really great the staff was terrible from the check in through the check out . Ruud not helpful and even wanted to charge be for minibar items I didn’t had . Purchases made in the hotel couldn’t be added to the room so the so called vip treatment and discount of 20% could not have been applied .Alan from reception nothing to do with the hospitality industry

First time in Brazil, and this hotel was a nice hotel. I enjoyed the proximity to dining, beach, shopping, etc. I would've paid more for a nicer room, but I didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Rooftop pool and bar was a plus and so was the buffet style breakfast downstairs! 9/10 recommend.

We are very disappointed that we had a extremely bad stay in this hotel as the air conditioning didn’t work and the telephone didn’t work, the worst part is the room is extremely stinky, it’s so bad my friend even had an asthma attack. When they moved us to a different room the next day, the toilet didn’t work. The hotel is not the condition as it is advertised at all!

The bedroom was really clean, but the bathroom could use a deep cleaning. Some of the staff were the nicest, most helpful people, but some just acted like I wasn't standing right in front of them. The breakfast had a very nice spread of pastries, but I was a little disappointed with the hot options. It was always the same hot options, and that got very tiring. My biggest complaint was the thin walls. I was roomed right next to some office, and there was some alarm going off pretty consistently. But I could frequently hear people talking in the hallways too. It was just a loud room, which was disappointing. The AC did work well though. The room had blackout curtains that actually worked. Also, the location was pretty great! Right next to a supermarket, the subway, and the beach!
