everything you need
Arrived late, the guard gave us key and then we walked across the street to a delicious french Italian restaurant and had a pizza, fantastic pizza!!! Walked back to the hotel and went to bed. hotel room was spacious. I like the outside kitchen the best, great to sit on deck and read in the am. There was microwave, two burner stove, toaster, fridge, everything you need if we were going to stay longer. not very convenient to walk anywhere but if rented a car would have been perfect b/c you could stay in the room and cook. Would definitely go back.

nice hotel with beachfront
Need a car to get around (almost a must), nearby restaurants (one on site) pricy, but not extremely, also a pricy deli nearby (within walking distance). Free internet in the hotel "lobby", two outdoor pools, long, nice and quiet beachfront, fully equipped kitchen, fridge, stove, electric oven (no micro). Nice room, nice terrace. Decently priced. 15 minutes (by car) from Princess Juliana Airport. Rooms cleaned every third day. Quiet, relaxation oriented atmosphere.

2/10 Poor

Avoid this hotel, you can find better!
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. It was bad enough that I left after a single night. Good: *Car rental, after paying $70 to get from the airport to the hotel via a cab we decided to rent a car. The hotel had an on site rental office, and the woman was nice and even dropped us off at the airport when we returned the car. High point of the visit. (she commented that the quality has gone down, and regular long term guests were booking elsewhere) *HUGE room UGLY: *Booked a room with a King size bed what we got two twin beds pushed together, each had its own set of sheets. Trying to sleep with another person resulted in the beds sliding apart and someone falling in between. *Booked an ocean view room, got a room with a view of the parking lot, a road, another resort, then a little sliver of the ocean. *mattresses were practically non existent, it was like sleeping on a camping pad *two towels in a room with two adults, had to use the same towel for showering, the beach and the pool, requests for more towels were refused *no maid service, coming back to the hotel after a long day to find the beds were unmade. Was told by management that they only clean the rooms between guests or once a week. *Broken shower All of these negatives resulted in us leaving and getting a room at Le Beach Hôtel, which even booking last minute was less expensive and so much nicer. I'd recommend avoiding this hotel, you can find better rates elsewhere.

Contrary to what it said on Hotels.com (and even on the sign in their own lobby), you can't check in at 3:00 because the hotel lobby is not staffed until 5:00 p.m. However, we killed the time in the bar overlooking the beautiful water, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

Dumpy place, close to nowhere.
Not sure who had given this dump a high rating, but they were clearly staff. The room and resort was a dump.

Great for a short stay.
Just had to stay at this hotel for one night. It was fine for one night, but I would not have wanted to stay longer than a night. I have a 7 year old boy, so things like wi-fi and outlets are a necessity, this hotel did not have wi-fi and the few outlets there were were European. It is located on a lagoon and it is very quiet. Nothing really close within walking distance other than the patisserie. The room was exceptionally clean, quaint, pretty property. The man who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant server was pretty unfriendly and acted as if we were bothering her.

When we checked in they didn't seem to have our reservation until I showed them my Expedia paperwork. The water was turned off, so we did not get to shower before we left in the morning. The staff said it was a city problem. No apology was given.

=Room 701. Arrived Tuesday afternoon wifi not working, able to get wifi in room on Thursday evening, paid 15 Euro charged equivalent $16.50. When wifi worked, it was super slow and sometimes connection is lost while using. =Only one device can connect in the room wifi at a time for the fee. =Constant drilling noise from apartment above for a few days. =Only 2 shows in TV - CNN and ESPN are in English, the rest are French language. =Kitchen located outside the room,Sliding door is hard to open, need to open to go to the kitchen and have it close to keep the bugs out. =The hot air conditioning exhaust blows on you when you are in the kitchen =Bath Tub is too high, dangerous for short people / short legs, can fall to go in & out. Needs stool. =No written instructions in anywhere in the room that room service will be done every third to fourth day, that means no towels will be provided every day. What is written only on the bathroom mirror is this "When you'd like fresh towels, please put used towels in the tub. If you'll use your towels more than once, hang them on the towel rack." We stayed 8 nights and our room was serviced 2x only. =No book or paper of information in the room. No instructions for using the room safe. =First floor has less privacy because sliding door doesn't have reflective film =The room is spacious and cleaned upon arriving.

Very disappointing this time
This was my second time staying here but this time was a disaster. Our toilet didn't work from day 1 and was never looked at. We ended up leaving after 2 days and finding a new place to stay.

Old and outdated but probably worth the price
Stayed here for 3 nights. This used to be a 5 star location. Unfortunately it has not been kept up. Probably 80% of the rooms have been sold as individual units (they have small kitchens). The rooms are clean but VERY old. TV did not work. The pool was very good. Do not expect high service here. The price is low and if you are not expecting extravagance this would be fine for you.

This is a condo with little or no services.
This is a condo, not a hotel. There is no front desk and no maid service. There was not enough towels in the room. The workers on duty during the day were not helpful. Website stated non-motor water activities were included, but they were NOT included. Room was clean and close to beach. Nice bakery and pizza place very close by, however, you need a car because it's not close to public transportation. Place is not centrally located as advertised. Marigot is a ten minute drive away.

buyer beware!!
This place is a customer service disaster!! There is NO RECEPTION! you have to find an office with a door falling off to check in Rude useless! The property is large with a good amount of beachfront and ancillary activities provided by others (not the hotel) one plus was there were very few people (surprise) and therefore lots of space, peace and quiet The place is dated and falling apart! It is pathetic!
