This hotel has tons of charm. The building is beautiful, the staff are exceptionally friendly, and it located within walking distance to all the major sites, but on a fairly quiet street.

An historic older hotel, a block from the central plaza, and close to restaurants, shops, museums and tourist attractions. The building, in spite of its age, was very well maintained and super clean. Recommended without hesitation, and I would definitely stay at the Palacio Hotel again in future.

Hotel was in a great location in the old town, walkable to most things you’ll want to see, with a selection of bars, cafés and restaurants around it. We had the room with the terrace and it was great, would happily stay here again.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel; the building, specially the elevator, and the furniture make me feel as if I was living in another time. A very convenient location to attend plays at Teatro Solís.

Nice in the sense of faded grandeur and very well priced. Well placed but not actually in the old town which can be a bit risky at night. Staff were fantastic.

I loved the friendly people who worked at the front desk. It is an older building - kind of shabby chic - for travellers of a bygone era. Although old, they keep it as clean.The location is ideal and the price was perfect. And everyone at the front desk could not have been nicer.
