    An overpriced dive hotel

    I picked this hotel because of the 8.4 rating on That rating is extremely inaccurate. There was a hole in the room carpet, the door to the room didnt close unless pushed on, there was a drain in the bathroom floor that was hazardous due to the fact that the cover was a half inch below the surface of the floor. There was mold on the walls of the bathroom. The AC unit cover wasn't properly mounted and fell off during the night. None of the basic amenities were in the room, cups, conditioner, body wash. Trash was tossed in the parking lot. Directly across the street were piles of discarded broken furniture. This hotel is a dump. The only bright spot was the hotel supervisor, Jasmin. I will never use this hotel again. I am now very skeptical of the hotel ratings provided by

    No good. Toilet was clogged upon arrival, they unclogged it and by next morning it was clogged again that time no one came to unclog it.

    The area and hotel service has really gone down hill. Staff at front desk do not even acknowledge your arrival if they are on the computer, phone or checking a clip board. Abandoned vehicles across the street, homeless camp across the street. Unsafe to walk to vehicle alone after dusk.

    The facility is located in a sketchy area and the hotel itself is disgusting. We aren’t snooty people by any means but it smelled terribly of marijuana, smoking and overall dirtiness. The staff was super friendly and professional and enforced the pool rules on our behalf. Our room had ants, Our curtains looked like they had old blood spatter on them, the sheets were horrible and there were inches of dust on the broken furnishings, the frig hadn’t been defrosted or thoroughly cleaned in ages. My husband and I both noticed zero presence of any maid service at different times of the day.

    Not what was advertised

    Overall this experience was pretty bad, we came in to get our key cards, the guy was very friendly but his computer kept crashing and it took over 20 minutes to check in. The plane had a smell to it from the start, we knew when we got there and there were homeless people in the parking lot camped out and stripped cars across the street that we were not in a good area. The sheets were stained, only a fleece blanket and a sheet for covers. Room was non smoking but very clearly smelled like smoke and so do our clothes and suitcases now that we are home. They never did housekeeping on the room and had to ask for new towels. Really just an overall uncomfortable and uneasy stay the whole time. Very disappointed, not at all what was advertised.

    Even with COVID they should not have breakfast listed and charge you for something you dont get. Most places have been doing a brown bag. This place nothing.

    Ive stayed in 2 stars better then this

    The bathroom ceiling looked like it was cracked. Stains on window curtains. Hand print left over my head board and the bed was super worn. The mattress was caved in on one side then the other. First and last time Ill stay at Red Liin Inn

    May be Red Lion, but Quality is less than Motel 6!

    There are huge signs saying no mask, no service, but staff was not wearing any masks. The elevator and the area between the pool and elevator was a sheet of water. I let the guy at the desk know and he blew me off. I went back and told him my concern as there was no wet floor signs and the floor was very slippery and soaked. He huffed and got up and mopped the area ans put out wet floor signs. My room had ants. I reported it and feel that it was just ignored. At midnight someone called my room, I was sleep and by the time I woke up enough to realize what it was, it had gone to voicemail so they left a message but I was not able to retrieve it. The voicemail number just rang and rang. I called the front desk and he said he didn't know how to solve it so "just ignore it if you can." I hope it was not an emergency of some sort! The hotel is a bad example of the Red Lion brand. The room was not very clean, the grout around the jetted tub was black and many of the tiles were broken. The room as a whole was very poorly maintained and while not filthy, it definitely showed a case of not caring about how the rooms are kept up. There are huge signs on all the exterior doors but the front one theatening to kick people out if they use the door. I travel a lot. I have never seen a Red Lion this poorly kept up. It felt like a by the hour no-tell motel.
