Horrible. The construction started early in the morning and the drilling and hammering got worst as my headache got worst...

    Layover in Brussels
Very accommodating and friendly hotel which was much appreciated when arriving early! We were so tired and ready for a shower and you got us in a room quickly!! The room was so comfortable, clean and quiet. It was also close to so much in Brussels. Also thank you for helping me with a call when my debit card got eaten by an ATM. My niece stayed at this same hotel the year before and suggested we stay here. It was a great choice!!

Overall experience was ok. Location was very good. You can walk to grand place and other sights easily. Every early morning the house keeping is going to knock on your door for cleaning the room and that's quiet annoying. The house keeping staff are not at all efficient and do not clean the room properly. Even forget to clear the garbage and refill tea coffee or tissue papers. The restaurant staff were efficient and served well. We took food their atlas 5 times times during our 6 nights stay although menu was limited but the food was good and staff service were good. Breakfast was good but same item everyday.

    Disappointing service
Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights around Christmas 2019. Pro- great location, christmas market is next door. But basically that is the only pro. Cons- 1. Exceptionally busy staff. Nothing against them and maybe they were running low on people due to holiday season but there was only one lady at the reception who took 15 mins to resolve another customer’s query before helping us check in. The same thing repeated itself when we wanted to pick up our left luggage. I booked an Uber (10 mins away) which arrived and the driver called us twice before we could even be attended by the reception. This time another lady was busy with a massive pile of paperwork holding us waiting. 2. The housekeeping removed the toiletries we were carrying and had left on the bathroom counter. When we asked the reception for a dental kit the next morning, they asked us to come down to reception and get it. Maybe we were wrong to expect some service but we found this a tad rude. 3. At this point we were finding faults with smallest of things like scratched/chipped wall plaster, overused towels, no floor mat in toilet, etc. There are quite a few hotels around this location at similar prices which may be better than Novotel.

Univited guest ver early in the morning! Beware
We reserved three rooms for three nights. On the third morning of our stay, Someone opened the door to my daughter’s room at 6:15 in the morning. Luckily, she had the lock on the door where the person could not enter -although the door was definitely opened. She texted me to see if I had opened her door. I had not and did not have a key to her room. I called the front desk and told the clerk what happened and that someone needed to investigate the situation. We were leaving for the airport that morning so I told the front desk clerk who was working what had happened. He was not the least bit concerned. Did not even apologize for what could’ve been a very scary situation. I asked about housekeeping and was told housekeeping does not start working until 8:30 in the morning. I have no idea who was trying to enter her room and could have if the security lock had not been placed.

    Great Hotel! Will stay again!
I had a wonderful stay at the Novotel City Center hotel. Walking distance for most of the Brussels activities. The room was clean, big, beautiful and inviting. The bathroom was amazing. Loved the rainfall shower head. I wanted to stay in there forever. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Lots of choices and was delicious.
