A family-owned hotel, in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the beach with a ton of restaurants/bars/shops. Comfortable rooms with beautiful views. The pool was a great area to unwind and the staff was excellent! The pool bartender, Lemy, was super friendly, provided great customer service, and created a really fun environment by the pool. The receptionist, Margarita, was super welcoming and even helped me schedule a sunset cruise (which was so great!). HIGHLY suggest staying at the Marianna Hotel!!!

The property was very nice, clean and the staff was very caring. It could benefit from an elevator but there were not many stares anyway

8/10 Very good

The property is in a great location away from all the tourists and close to Perissa beach. One thing that was disappointing was the bathroom. When taking showers the water finds its way all over the floor. Other than that my group enjoyed our stay.

I loved the beautiful Marianna hotel. The staff were so warm and welcoming. They helped in so many ways! The location is excellent if you have a car. It’s far from the highly touristy areas and so walkable to the charming town of Perissa with it’s magnificent beach!

8/10 Very good

Good value, nice rooms, quiet location, good views
We are a couple, mid 40s, have done a lot of travelling and pretty active. The hotel offered a pick-up from airport which was helpful (at a fee), it was very clean and our room (4) was pool/sea view had been modernised, which was very comfortable/pleasing. A small fridge in room. Glasses never got replaced (cleaning issue). The hotel is around a 5 minute stroll into the main strip of restaurants/bars, church for local bus stop and shops, so very accessible to beach etc also. Lovely pool/poolside area and sunbeds. The staff (aside from Tracey) are polite/functional but not friendly. If you're looking for an open-armed, warm Greek welcome, perhaps look elsewhere. We were met with lots of 'can't wait to finish/end of season comments/fatigue', which isn't what one wants to hear. We were disappointed with the lack of atmosphere by the pool, no music (aside from when the girl working there had it on her phone) so it felt a little 'dead'. No poolside food menu or restaurant available at hotel and the pool bar only open for drinks from 11.30am-4.30pm during the day, but you get told off for drinking/eating your own. which feels weird as some rooms are self-catering and they don't cover the whole day. Tracey was helpful, friendly and informative, with trip, transfer, car hire and local bus info. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice, albeit very repetitive. Same daily. Coffee weak and they cook so many fried eggs which go cold in the terrine, so a waste. It has nice views.

Quiet property
Beautiful place ! Suited for people who wants quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Nice black beach walking 5 min distance and a good hike to the left of the hotel that offers beautiful views. Nice restaurants near by. Nice, warm, full breakfast with coffee, tea, juices is offered in the price. Could be changed a little daily. You can rent a car or ATV wright at the hotel which is very convenient! Good value!

This is the type of hotel I definitely want to go back. Great host, really genuine people and amazing services. The hotel itself is well maintained and the rooms are comfortable. The home made breakfast was unforgettably tasty. Above all, the hosts (family run, very friendly and inclusive) were amazing. They are always there when you need them for anything and give great advices on where to go etc. they seem to wanting helping you as opposed to “just do their job”. Overall a very pleasant experience! Also the pool area was amazing! Definitely recommend if you like to meet genuinely good people and be away from disappointments.

Although inexpensive this property is a gem. The rooms are not luxurious but comfortable and functional. Tracey the manager is so helpful and nice Wonderful pool and chaises for relaxing away from the salty water and nice black sand of the beach which is 800 meters down the road The hotel is set right up to a 300 meter hillock on which are Greco-Roman ruins and a Greek church My fourth trip to Santorini in 30 years and I usually stay in OIA(which I love) but this area is like being at an eco resort away from the dust, noise and heat of the August crowds,( ECO figuratively speaking) A great simple place to relax Not many frills but the full breakfast was exceptional.

Wonderful for Ancient Thira
Hotel Marianna is a short walk up a hill, past fig trees in derelict lots and a couple of dusty coach parks, located under the impressive Mesa Vouno mountain at the end of Perissa black volcanic beach. Situated with the rock face of the mountain behind it and the beautiful church and beach resort developments of Perissa below. With a wow factor location and deep blue pool. We are delighted that staying at Hotel Marianna inspired us to hike up to the top of Mesa Vouno, the steep winding path begins not far up the small road beyond the hotel - sign posted, "Ancient Thira". If you are not an avid archeologist then Ancient Thira is to be frank a pile of rocks, but worth paying the entrance fee for the atmosphere and spectacular views. On the Perissa side of Mountain Mesa Vouno we enjoyed a side track to a tiny chapel (locked) perched on a ledge in the cliff face. You'll be ready to dip into the sea after that hike! And, end the day with a great sense of achievement!
The view from the windy top of Mesa Vouno Mountain at the ruins of Ancient Thira.
The view of Kamari resort on the other side of Mountain Mesa Vouno from Perissa resort.

6/10 Good

I was put in a basement room and found it smelly and a bit run down. And getting my luggage back up the stairs was not fun! The staff were kind and helpful and the pool and dining area were clean and well kept. This is a good location. Near the shops, restaurants and bus stop for easy travel.
