One particular front desk clerk ruins this hotel.
Everything about the hotel and stay was great except for a couple big things that still haven't been resolved. First off I had some issues with the card I was using as they said I couldn't use it due to it not being in my name. This was the second day mind you. I said ok and could they key in a card number because I have a card in my name however it was a virtual card and I don't have the physical card. The desk clerk looked at me and says "sir I'm sorry but we can't be conducting business this way." As if I was trying to swindle him in some way. The card I used belonged to a friend who just hadnt been able to make it down there and I asked about the virtual card in hopes of saving HIM the wasted time and get his hotel paid up without an issue. I'm not sure why the attitude was given. He then told me we would just keep everything the same for one more night and IF I was allowed to stay further I would have to pay cash. The clerk the first day however told me it HAD to be on a card. So I don't know which one is correct however in the end of all of this the room was left in EXCELLENT condition but needless to say I have still not received my deposit back from the stay. I intend on calling them to follow this issue up today, but I did not like the way I was treated as some kind of common theif or pickpocket as if I was attempting to scam a few bucks off of him personally. That left a rather bitter taste in my mouth overall so IF I stay here again it will be with serious caution!

Nice room with a small kitchen. Well appointed. Hidden off the main drag and quiet. A cat greets you when you go into the lobby. Towels are soft ( unusual for this price range)

One of the two beds we had was very firm and uncomfortable. This is a property with residents living here, and some late night and early morning activity and noise, including dogs. The manager was able to get a resident to silence their dog after we complained, but I wouldn’t pick an extended stay place or a place that allows dogs again.

Floors were so filthy, we permanently stained our socks, as we could not walk barefoot during our stay. Appliances and furnishings were not well maintained and were very outdated. We did not trust that the plates, utensils and glasses had been cleaned. The shower head was essentially broken as it sprayed all over except in the direction a shower head should. The neighborhood was full of indigent people, including those who make it a more permanent residence.
