Lovely hotel - one of the best I stayed

Pleasantly surprised on how mordern and stylish the place was. It is enormous and complete with a lovely lobby area, very lively and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and beds were super comfy, clean and sparking new. The breakfast was very complete with plenty options for healthy, vegan, cooked, hearty - it kept me full the whole day whilst sightseeing - Excellent value for money. Overall me and my family loved the hotel and would come back without thinking.

Weird to place a family room next to a loud DJ on a Thursday evening/night. Called the reception twice who replied if the music/DJ still is loud in 30-60 min then call the reception again. Interesting customer service!

If it wasn't for those windows....

Overall the hotel was very nice. Didn't really like the fact that there was no traditional reception desk where you could check in, but rather one needed to self check-in on tablets. However there were a couple of employees nearby to assist if necessary. The only reason that I don't give 5 stars is because the windows in the bedroom were very thin and you could hear every car that drove by as if the window was open. We were on the 4th floor and could also clearly hear any conversations that were being had by passers by on the street below. Otherwise it was a great stay with good staff, a tasty breakfast and very appealing decoration throughout the hotel. The location was also optimal for us.

After long time,bad experience in a premier hotel

On order to Digitalise..they have forgotten the human touch. No one tells how to connect to their WiFi. The Wifi network is terrible in rooms and corridor ( atleast on 2nd Floor) and you get disconnected with the world if you cannot connect your mobile and computer with Wifi easily and then the service staff expects you to 'come to us downstairs ' if you want to solve your issue. The Rooms are difficult to search . It seems as if the staff and management never asked their own relatives or friends to stay in their own hotel and never were aware of basic requirements and amenities at time of CHECKING IN. YES, BREAKFAST MENU WAS GOOD!

Tooooo HOT

Good location, humanness check in was smooth, great pillows but those were the highlights for my one night stay. The lift broke to the higher floors with little guide to get back to your room created a maze to find one’s bed. Stray hair in the bed was a disappointing surprise! The coffee cups welded to the saucer via a sticky mess was inconvenient. BUT the single biggest issue was the poor air con and clearly thermal protection as the south facing rooms whilst bright, could not get cool enough. I reluctantly had to crack the window which opened up to the communal balcony. Fair to say i will be back to Berlin but not to this hotel.

Impersonal, uncaring staff

Most impersonal hotel I’ve ever stayed at. 3 female staff huddle at checkin which is by computer at the entrance.System didn’t recognise my surname, booking number or anything. No help forthcoming from the staff who were huddled chatting. Eventually got moved in to back office room and checked in but that was just as slow. Room ok, mattress on bed like a rock and no great area either. Big mistake.

The hotel lobby looks nice. When we entered our room the smell of cannabis was so strong to the point we had to call, got told to come down to get rooms changed. No problems with the second room. However, the amenities and housekeeping was the biggest issue. Coffee pods were not full to start with. We used the two cups given for coffee, as you’d expect, you’d be given clean ones the next day and coffee/tea refilled. However this wasnt the case we were left with dirty mugs from day one and no coffee. When housekeeping comes round they dont even replace the towels, the same towels were just roughly folded and put on towel drier. Nothing was cleaned not vacuumed or anything. Duvet was just tidied up. We also tried calling reception multiple times however everytime we called no answer. Good location and downstairs area but thats it.
