Week in Panamá City
Firstly this is not the 5 star property it claims to be! It’s decent but a little rough round the edges, for example the wiring for the TV and mood lighting in our room were exposed and the cardboard packaging for the flat pack furniture could be seen underneath where they couldn’t be bothered to unpack it properly and cut around it!
There’s a pleasant rooftop pool but it’s quite small and not as good as the photos portray it to be. It’s fine when there’s nobody else using it. Only 2 loungers and 2 sunbeds so it’s a lottery whether you’ll get one. The bar opens late afternoon and then there will be music blaring out from it.
Breakfast is basic but passable. There’s scrambled egg and sausage/backon, toast, pastries, cheese, fruit and yoghurts. Some of the pastries looked liked they’d been baked in an incinerator 😂
Overall it’s decent value for money, just don’t expect too much.
