The hotel was a good experience, not sure we’d stay there again. Was a bit pricey for a room that would be comparable to a midrange marriott property. Their restaurant, The Dockside, was awful. The specialty drinks were poorly made, not drinkable and ridiculously overpriced. The salmon was so dry it couldn’t be eaten and the only thing good about the fish n chips were the chips. Portions were very small and again in theme with the drinks, everything was ridiculously overpriced. If you choose to stay at the Granville Island Hotel, go to dinner at The Sandbar Restaurant. The food was fabulous and it was a great value.
