Very cozy and inviting
The stay was lovely. Breakfast in the room each morning was a delight! Only complaint really was the bed was very very firm and that led to not the best nights sleep. For a cozy bed and breakfast it was a wonderful stay.

Amazing Breakfast
Breakfast was amazing. Probably the best breakfast ever. Enjoyed outdoor areas to sit down and relax. Great view from the room. Room was dated. Thin walls, I could hear people in the room next to me talking/watching TV until 4am which was very unpleasant. It’s a nice inn but won’t be back again.

Amazing couple's getaway
We had a great experience here and will be returning in the future. The staff are amazing and you can't beat the breakfast service. We stayed for 3 nights and spent our days exploring and hiking. We felt very at-home and enjoyed relaxing in the room and on the private patio after a tiring day. I was happy to be able to use the hot tub and have it to ourselves. I usually don't use the hot tubs or pools because they are crowded and noisy, but not here. It was very relaxing! I should also add the bed was comfortable and the towels were plush. And they even provided bath robes. Our room had a big soaker tub, which we didn't use because the hot tub was available but I'm sure it would have been great. We highly recommend staying here!

Amazing place, the people that work here are the warmest and kindest!! I think the room we were in could use an update for the bathroom/tub in room situation, it didn’t drain properly and smelled a little funny but other than that it was incredible and I’d highly recommend!

Nice quiet location with a rustic vibe. Staff were extremely friendly and the three course breakfast each morning was great. While the jetted soaker tub in the room was nice, showering in the middle of the bedroom felt a little strange

It was a quaint Inn. It was unique, served breakfast at room. They prepared breakfast instead of processed continental breakfast.

Very cozy cabin room with extremely romantic vibe. They also deliver breakfast (brunch style) to your room next day which is surprisingly delicious! I think it could beat most of brunch places in New York. I’d highly recommend to stay here for more than one night so you could take your time to enjoy it!

4/10 Fair

During our recent stay at the Bear and Bison Country Inn, we found it to be significantly overpriced for the experience it offers. The accommodation feels outdated, reminiscent of the 1970s rather than a modern, comfortable inn. We stayed 3 nights over the busy Canada Day long weekend and paid $610 per night, including all taxes and fees. The inn is also a fair distance from the Canmore town center, about a 30-minute walk. In the interest of fairness, there were some positives: 1. A great breakfast delivered to the room. 2. The Iron Goat, an excellent pub right next door serving phenomenal Duck Wings. 3. Super premium toilet paper (no, really, this is the gold standard from now on) However, for the price point, the overall experience was disappointing. Here are the main issues: - The lack of a proper bathroom: there was a jet/soaker tub literally in the room and a tiny separate toilet with a sink - without vanity - The soaker tub was super dated, with a shower curtain and a broken hot water handle. - The carpet... hello 70s, though it was clean. - The mattress was extremely bouncy and had probably seen better days. - There was no wardrobe or place to hang clothes. - On the afternoon of Canada Day, the lawn outside our window was maintained with loud and smelly equipment for at least 30 min. Overall, for over $600 per night, I expected a much higher standard of accommodation and amenities. This review reflects the high price and the unmet expectations associated with it.

We often go to Banff every year but this time decided to go to Canmore. To our extreme pleasure this place is a hidden paradise. We really like the place, its surroundings, room and the backyard especially. Everything is so beautiful. The delicious breakfast was cherry on top. Im gonna let all my friends know about the place to visit it at least once. If there are more than 5 stars, I will give it to Bear and Bison inn.

This place is off the beaten path. Very cute and cozy micro hotel. Rooms were a nice size, clean and comfortable. Balconies are decent for chilling. The morning breakfast was amazing and served right in our room. Very cute getaway place for a romantic getaway.
