"We stayed here for 4 nights, and this is our second stay at the hotel and this is the only hotel in Lusaka we would stay in. We stayed in the double room with separate kitchen and lounge and is well worth the additional cost.
The room is spacious very clean and has everything you need for a stay. The kitchen has the basics to allow you to prepare food, but you do have to ask if you want knives as they are not left in the draws. The kitchen comes with a microwave / oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and electric hob.
The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is very clean and changed regularly.
The shower area is spacious and clean, the shower does spill out into the rest of the bathroom occasionally but there are two floor drains to allow the water to drain away.
Overall this is the best place to stay in Lusaka, Mandahill shopping centre is next door, with a half decent selection of places to eat, and shop, East Mall is definitely better with more to offer."
"The hotel was clean; the staff was friendly and very helpful; the shower was hot and powerful; and the beds were comfortable. It was too cool to try the pool but it looked good."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Lusaka
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Lusaka is during January, August, and December, when hotel prices are typically lower. For those looking to explore the city’s key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to fully appreciate the vibrant local scene, which includes business hubs, traditional dancing, wildlife experiences, charming cafés, entertainment options, live music, shopping opportunities, and recreational activities. By planning your trip during these months, you can ensure a budget-friendly experience that offers great value for money.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Lusaka, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find reduced rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to remain informed about flash sales and exclusive last-minute offers, ensuring you’re more likely to seize savings opportunities. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. You’ll be notified if room availability changes or prices drop, enabling swift bookings for your getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay in a hotel in Lusaka. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer a more affordable option, helping you to potentially secure a better deal.
Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Lusaka's excellent public transport links, you may find a more affordable independent hotel located further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
