Moon Bar at Banyan Tree Bangkok is a luxurious rooftop bar with expansive views of the cityscape. Located on the 61st floor of the 5-star hotel, it has a narrow and elongated shape that gives you an impression of being aboard a spaceship. It’s also one of the few rooftop bars with absolutely nothing above you – which is why it’s best to visit on a clear day (or night). The bar also shares this large space with Vertigo, one of Bangkok's most luxurious rooftop restaurants.

Highlights of Moon Bar at Banyan Tree Bangkok

From Banyan Tree Bangkok's lobby, a fast elevator takes you to the 60th floor which houses Bai Yun Chinese Restaurant. Walk past it and up a flight of stairs which leads you Vertigo and Moon Bar. The Bangkok cityscape is striking with a full 360-degree view.

You can admire the sunset from sofas lining the edges of the bar. On clear nights, the setting sun lights up the river in the distance. Be sure not to arrive too late as the best seats are quite limited.

There are more seats on the walkway leading to Vertigo restaurant, though the view from there isn't as impressive. If you're here for dinner, Vertigo serves excellent imported steaks and seafood.
