BAD Service / no appreciation
Our company sends teams out to work in various areas may times a year. They typically love Marriott hotels, but unfortunately, we will not be booking with them anymore. We've spent a lot of money in hotels annually, most of which were Marriott or assoc. Typically with no issues whatsoever. Until now, this particular trip was cut short due to heavy snow that my team could not work in, when we ask for any kind of help, as in, a partial refund or booking the same amounts of rooms the following week. We were told to essentially "take a hike", and "our policy is no refunds at all ever". This was very disappointing that we did not get any kind of assistance and wasted three night's stay for two rooms. I fully understand policies and their stance, but I feel like with the amount of past and potential future business. There would have been some kind of "customer care" assistance. Thanks!
