The hotel is well located next to anything you may need. The rooms are well decorated and clean. The staff was helpful, especially Meow. She would always greet us with a big smile; even as we were leaving on our last day, she walked with us to the van to say good bye.

The location was decent, the staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and serviced well. I stayed in an even numbered room which faced the Phuket Surf House and they play music loudly from 10 in the morning to midnight evey day i was there. For this i wouldn't recommend staying at the Bloc, but if that is something that would not bother you then you may enjoy your stay here. There is also a 1000 thai baht deposit required required at check in so don't misplace you receipt or you may not get it back at checkout. All in all id say under 30 it would likely be good for you and over 30 you may want to stay somewhere else.

Staff was nice but rooms smelled like mold. My friends bathroom kept leaking and my room smelled like it hasn’t been used in a very long time. The photos online of the pool relaxing area was different than the picture advertised. It’s located in a good area for food but I wouldn’t stay here again.

If you like to enjoy an early morning coffee or just relaxing on your balcony at the end of the day which I do, then this is NOT the place for you. It’s approx a 3ft square area, standing room only or squat on the kids stall they provide all rooms have the same size outdoor areas.

Hotel is very nice, can not fault what there is of it, modern, newly refurbished/built - really good room, air con, bathroom, tv, clean, well designed and decorated. Good rooftop pool area. Downside - no restaurant- breakfast is via a voucher collected at reception each morning and handed in to coffee shop next door. Small basic one course breakfast, if coffee shop busy the wait can be excessive under cold air con and in amongst loud customers- the view being taxi drivers smoking outside waiting for a fare. The coffee was great, a real bonus - but just not quite worth the wait, the food or the environment. Patong is dreadful - a dirty swamp filled with the worst of humanity.
