Very nice, Parking extra
Very nice hotel and good location. Breakfast was really good. The Rooftop bar was amazing. The hotel lobby staff were not very friendly. You have to pay for parking (this added over $35 to a one-night stay.

Always Wonderful
The hotel is in a wonderful location on Upper King Street which has many restaurants and bars to walk to. The hotel staff were very cordial and courteous. Check in was easy as well as checkout. The room was comfy and provided a mini kitchen. This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here and we will be back.

2/10 Poor
21 September 2024
The staff at this hotel was absolutely terrible. We requested an early check-in and received an email confirmation that our room was ready at 12:30. When we arrived at 1:30 they said it would be 30 to 45 minutes and when we came back 2 1/2 hours later the room was still not ready, and the staff was extremely rude. The ice machine was broken, on the fifth floor, the water pressure in the shower was nonexistent and our room door was broken. I would definitely not recommend staying here.

We loved the King suite with the separate bedroom and full kitchen. We would give 5 stars if the pull-out bed in the sofa were comfortable but it was not. Also, we did not like the barn door on the bathroom - it would not latch easily or stay closed.
The hotel was clean, the king bed was comfortable, the showere pressure was great, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

Hyatt House king suite was a great option for a few nights in Charleston. Have you the living area so you didn’t have to be on the bed when in the room. The free breakfast was a value too.
