So much potential but falls very short
I really wanted to like this hotel, the setting and rooms were lovely, but the service was disappointing. As an international traveler, I rely on wifi, but the room I was assigned had no signal. Reception claimed not all rooms had wifi, suggesting I use the reception area instead. A hostel I had used prior in the same town offered full wifi. After some back and forth, I was given an upgraded room with wifi. However, the air conditioning started leaking water, and reception only fixed it by placing a bin under it, leaving dirty foot prints in the room during the process.
Breakfast service was lacking—only the lady at registration spoke to me, there was an omelette station, but serving staff didn't acknowledge me nor anyone, leading me to get up from my table to ask for eggs.
When I inquired about a direct airport transfer that morning, the receptionist told me it was too late to book for the same day, requiring 24 hours notice and suggested an expensive taxi or long public bus options. After investigating online, I found same-day bookings were possible and returned to inform her. (I had used a same day transfer from the airport to the town). She reluctantly booked me onto the 1:00 PM departure, after repeating it wasn’t available for a second time. When the transfer arrived there were 2 people, including myself, with 5 free seats. This unhelpful attitude was consistent with the wifi and breakfast service issues.
