Room was very organized and spacious. Beds were super comfortable. Was elated to see that it came with a free mini bar and the other services outside of the room like the fitness room was great. Sound isolation needs work between rooms. Room service didn't provide new towels. Bathroom amenities might need some work in the soap variety department.

Wow Dormero!

This June 2023 - 2 night stay was absolutely delightful. The staff was friendly and cordial. The hotel was very quite. The Dormero Hotel was the perfect stay for exploring the Bauhaus in Dessau. There are several great restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was terriffic. I have included photos. Thanks for the welcoming hospitality Dormero.

Good for a break when on the road.

Clean room, worth the stay when passing through. If anything - pillows a little bit to big and hard. Staff was kind, all positive at the arrival and check-in but would sometimes disappear (other work tasks?) and people needed to wait sometimes at the reception for help. Need to be prepared for being able to give more food suggestions if visitors want to go and eat somewhere. Location good, parking spot / area securely behind. Never tried the breakfast as we travelled early in the morning before breakfast time. Overall favorable and could stay here again.

Everything was fantastic! Large rooms with lots of space, huge bathroom with a tub, extremely comfortable bed, and free drinks! I only have 2 minor complaints. First is that housekeeping should NOT be trying to get in my room at 8am, that’s way too early considering that checkout is at 12 noon. Second is that there’s nobody at the reception desk until 1pm, I wanted to ask about staying another night but nobody was there. Overall, it was a really nice place in a great location.

Poor and frustrating communication and welcome

On arrival in the afternoon ,there was noone at reception( they had restricted hours) , and the water dispenser was empty ( and stayed that way for the next day). I was told that my room had no Aircon ( while some did) , which was not emphasised at my online booking site, despite the heatwave, and the small bar fridge was warm.There is no phone in the rooms to reception, and I found that I couldn't turn the shower on, and there is no instruction via a diagram nor in writing how to do this. I was kept waiting in the foyer the next morning for them to find an assistant to personally demonstrate how to turn on the the shower. I bear some responsibility for not speaking German, but none of the staff spoke English, except the reception on Day One ( limited). Breakfast is expensive, so I suggest eating in the bakery across the road. The TV mechanism was dodgy, and needed yet another trip down the stairs to tell reception. I had considered continuing my stay , but that's now out of the question due to their poor means of communication.

Das Zimmer war extrem warm, die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Was viel schlimmer war, die Toilettenspülung funktionierte sehr schlecht. Für mich viel zu schwer, aber selbst mein Mann hat's nicht immer geschafft, die Spülung zu betätigen. Sehr ungünstig für Stuhlgang. Beim Techniker hat's sofort funktioniert. Der letzte Aufenthalt war etwas besser.
