Trade Market was a disappointment
The entire expo was great and we would definitely go back. The only thing I did not like was that I had a fever and had to buy Advil from their “Trade Market shop”. Normally I bring it with me. They charged us $18 for a small bottle of Advil. That bottle is about $6-$7 in stores. I found that a major ripoff. I’d still go to stay there but bring my own Advil or go to the town to buy anything I need.

Property is beautiful with lots of logistical management problems. Rooms are ok, no water pressure in shower and uncomfortable pillows. Poor service and lack of attention to details made this stay mediocre.
Asked the front desk to inform when room is ready - never did and we lost time for hours by the pool.
Weird fact: change rooms are not connected to the pool and we had to walk through grass overlooking the dining room in our bathing suits covered in a towel while people were suppose to enjoy their meals.
Hotel charges $50 plus tax resort fees to use facilities:
kayak and canoe equipment located at the front of hotel and guests are expected to lag it down and up the hill!
hotel advertises tennis courts - not fenced and too small to play proper tennis. ( pickle ball maybe !)
We were informed the pub is open till 10 serving a full menus, when we arrived at 9 were given a limited menu with 4 items of fried pub food
( that was suppose to be our special anniversary dinner)
We were kicked out of the hotel the day of check out at noon because high caliber people were arriving ! No one asked how our stay was and we felt rushed to leave the hotel.
( none of this was communicated to us at the time of booking )
Hotel cancellation policy is ridiculous and very rigid! 7 days in advance and you loose $50 and less than 7 days entire stay !!! Life happens !
Property has a potential to be a beautiful experience for couples, retreats or corporate events if properly managed

I got food poisoning from the pub which basically ruined my girlfriend’s birthday. Old rooms and gross walls. Hot tub isn’t hot, Only some of the Sauna’s work.

Beautiful hotel public areas and grounds. Rooms are dated though. If rooms get renovated, this could be a 5 star experience.

There was a lot of family activities to do at the property. Well-maintained, had a basic double room, if it's in your budget splurge for one of the rooms with a balcony or lakeview.

Lots of potential for this hotel. We had two main problems. One was a very bad smell which permeated from the lobby to the second floor where our room was, similar to a septic system backing up into a basement. The other was a rather loud convention taking place, when the convention guests were talking loudly outside our room (which was situated near the elevators) quite late at night (guessing about midnight). Tip: Ask for a room far from the elevators and lobby,

The staff are lovely and helpful. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming every day, and the peace and quiet of the hotel rooms and surrounding area. The Friday night entertainment was excellent!
