Breakfast staff could be better
We sent this feedback direct to Capital Coast by email but as after seven days we had had no response so have decided to go public.
The check-in staff were pleasant, the room clean room, nice view of pool.
All good until breakfast - we were told it was from 7.45, the notice outside the restaurant states 7.45 the website states 7.45. The restaurant did indeed have the doors open but there was no cooking until chef arrived at 8 o'clock. We had a business meeting to attend so waiting wasn't an option. We pointed this out to the only member of staff in the restaurant and instead of apologising she was defensive, rude and argumentative, said not her fault, reception was in the wrong she even said 'I'm not a server, this isn't my job'
Clearly breakfast is NOT served at 7.45. If we knew this we could have gone to elsewhere, at least the food would have been not only hot but served with eggs and a smile.
If this was our first visit to Capital Coast judging by the breakfast experience I don't think we'd go back. This is a four star hotel but the service and staff attitude in the restaurant does not reflect this.
Some customer training is required the customer is not always right, but the customer should at least come first. Your staff represent your company and our experience hasn't been good.
