We enjoyed our stay at Dreams Corfu, but sadly felt it fell a little short of our expectations for true 5 star hospitality. The property itself was very nice - rooms were comfortable, peaceful and spacious. Check in process was swift and efficient. Staff were for the most part attentive and professional, although we did witness some meltdowns in the main buffet restaurant, probably due to how overwhelmingly busy this was. I would definitely recommend the Preferred Club if this is an option. The main pools were better when travelling with little ones due to shallow areas but sadly lacking in beds. These would all be taken unless you got there by 9/9.30. Thankfully there was more availability with the preferred club pool. Drinks were great, food was hit and miss. The buffet was nice but a bit repetitive. A la Carte restaurants we didn’t feel were truly a la Carte. The Italian did nice pizzas but the pasta could be bland, and service could be slow. Wasps a bit of an issue around food. Kids club/ entertainment great, couldn’t fault this. We also loved the pier down by the beach. Would highly recommend the boat trip into Corfu old town. The area directly around the hotel is a little run down, but there was a shop with everything you may need in the resort which was a nice touch. You can also ask for a shower room and use of the facilities after check out should you require - again, a lovely touch. Overall, we enjoyed our trip but some improvements could be made.
