It was definitely a nice property and staff were friendly. I did utilize my vip access and got a free room upgrade for my family. Lobby was a bit small and crowded during check in but other than that it is not too bad. Jessica who was our personal butler was very thorough with us as vip guess and personally came out to greet us and look for us.

The accommodations, restaurants & buffet were great & the staff was wonderful, especially Myriam & Chris at the “presentation” The 90 minute “presentation” turned into 2 1/2hrs of my wasted time. I was very annoyed with them. They push a membership on you & I wasn’t vacationing for a vacation membership similar to a time share. I was able to prove that my trip for 3 adults with airfare, accommodations & insurance was cheaper than the membership monthly cost & that stopped the pushiness. Other than that it was a nice place to relax, with great views. They should more adult activities, like dance classes & provide music at adult only pools.

I had a disappointing experience at Grand Park Royal that overshadowed my vacation. Upon arrival, the check-in process was rushed, and we received little guidance. We had to seek help from a bellman to find dinner, and the chaotic main hall made it difficult to navigate. During our stay, I encountered several issues. On Mexican night, I struggled to find food I liked and was refused a fresh pan of beans by the chef when I asked. This was frustrating and embarrassing, leading me to escalate the issue to the manager. I also experienced a burn during dinner at the teppanyaki restaurant due to a mishap. When I spoke to the evening Resort manager, he addressed me as "Lady" and dismissed my concern. Throughout my stay, I felt overlooked, and disrespected especially at the adults-only pool where the server ignored me for hours. Making dinner reservations was uncomfortable, as staff stood around watching me until I addressed them. and finally the bellman was rude, refused to help me with my car and got angry because I asked for his help after ignoring me for more thab 15 minutes. My butler reserved a cabana on the beach and pool for us, fix a dinner reserv. and whispered be nice to her, which helpe, but my was marred by poor service and disrespect. They knew who I was and while the attempt to help appeared to be real, everyday of my 7 day vacation was ruined and I did My best with avoiding the service team. I hope management addresses these issues, but I don’t plan to return.

First time at a resort and Cancun ! My family and I enjoyed it would definitely come back . All the employees as very friendly and nice , Jessica our butler was super helpful with all the questions and reservations we needed . As well as Andrea the activities coordinator had great activities to do during the day and night to keep us busy !
