What we reserved was not available.
We had a confirmed reservation for a room with one king bed. There were no rooms with king bed available and no rooms in the main hotel available. We were told we were being given a room with two queen beds. What we got was an old warn out room in a distant remote building a long walk from the main hotel with two single beds. There were multiple major problems with the only room available to us. We wanted to go to one of the several other nearby hotels but we were told we prepaid and a refund was not an option even though the hotel was overbooked and the type of room we booked was not available. They apologized and admitted they made a mistake to give us a reservation for a room not available snd tske our payment of $255, but offered no refund or other recourse.

2nd time to this property this year. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. You can tell they’ve been well trained. The food in the restaurants have always been good. The entire property is beautiful. My one negative is the key card constantly wasn’t working well in the elevator. Other than that anotjer very pleasurable stay.

Too much going on in this hotel. Staff seems not to give much attention to guests unless tipped. Attitude from staff and not very welcoming. Only nice person I encounter was the cleaning lady for my room. Restaurant was ONE and although it was not busy at the restaurant food came out cold and took way too long if ordering from the menu. This hotel was way too expensive. I much rather go to punta Cana next time
