"Beautiful area, of course we're in Austria! Traffic through the Fernepass was atrocious, which is right near Obsteig. Construction was in process across the road from hotel and the trucks that traveled the road all night that our room overlooked were very loud. No A/C so leaving windows open was a must. The furnishings looked to be very fancy in the 1930's, part of it's charm. Everything was very clean, though feather pillows need a little more stuffing. Loved the balcony for every room. Also,...

"This was a prime location close to shopping, and outdoor activities. There was an outdoor Ice Rink down the street, perfect for the kids to stay active. All the restaurants in the area served home cooked meals. The owners and staff made feel at home and the were the best people you could ever meet. Loved it. "

"Loved staying right on the mountain side! There are a few things located around the hotel dining/hiking which was nice as well. The natural pool was also a highlight. Would definitely come back!"

friendly, staff were nice and helpful. Dinner was also good and they were accomodating for gluten free. Location is very convenient for Zugspitze and hiking. We unfortunately were staying only one night and our hike second day was rained off so we would like to return for longer next time to explore the area more."

"This was a one night stay on our way from France to Italy. A very welcoming and friendly place with parking. This was their last week for the season and we were given a whole apartment. Would be happy to stay there again."

Main shopping area and restaurants are within an easy 5-15 minute walk.
Will be back there"

"Exceptional hotel and we stayed for a week. I’ve lived and traveled all over the world and it’s hard to recall a better experience even in much more expensive hotels. Food, ambiance, service and location couldn’t be better. The spa area is relaxing and a great way to end a day of hiking, cycling, snow sports or touring. Many restaurants are within 10 minutes walk through the park that you enter from the reset of the hotel. We rented e-bikes one day at the hotel and the staff was always...

"This property was not worth the price you pay. The lobby, bar and breakfast room were fairly updated but the rooms were very old, came with no amenities (no robes, fridge, etc) and the beds/pillows were terribly uncomfortable. The only positive is that it’s close to the train station, the parking/pet fees were low, and breakfast was included. "
