We enjoyed the Whale watch trip we did whilst in Hervey bay and weren't dissapointed as many pods of whales and some dolphins were all spectacular. The lovely attention to bike paths, children's playgrounds and beach front seating is really great.

Nice place but there is insufficient public transportation and many restaurants close early. The best thing is the walking and cycling trail along the Esplanade and the beach.

Too little (none) competition nfor all things K'Gari (Fraser Island) from the overly super greedy owners = $500 for 1-day trip for 1 adult w two kids- shame on you!!! Time for QLD GOV to take control and open up for at least 5 operators to drove down

"Great family stay in the 2 bedroom swim up apartment. I highly recommend the swim up apartment for kids if you plan to swim everyday, pool was heated so we were able to swim in July. BYO pool towels or they can be hired from reception. Toiletries are fairly basic (combination shampoo/conditioner and bar soap) so if you're particular BYO, face washers are also not supplied. Italian restaurant next door was excellent and also does coffee early Thursday - Sunday. Foodworks a short walk up the road for supplies. "
"Spacious quiet cabin with a comfortable bed, own washing machine and coffee machine. Had everything we needed for a two night stay. We chose the free Wifi which was slow in the evenings, but average speed during the day."
"Property is currently under renovations but noise was minimal and contractors were friendly and courteous. Staff and service were great, really friendly and welcoming. Our newly renovated room was lovely and spacious. Will definitely be returning. "
