I remember visiting Bowral over 20 years ago and it has changed a lot. It used to be a little boutique town a bit like Bangalow, but it has grown as is not as quaint as it used to be with a lot of major shopping chains there.

Bowral is beautiful however probably better for go in spring when gardens and flowers are blooming as not much to do outside of that and antique/vintage shops.

"Comfortable and charming place to stay, with friendly staff and a great location. While the bathroom in our room was a little dated and in need of renovation, we still enjoyed our visit. A special thank you to the manager for providing a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary - it made our stay extra memorable! We'll definitely be back!"
"Dated but very clean and all the conveniences included. Loads of toiletries, fridge, microwave, kettle and tea/coffee/mill and cookies provided. Staff very helpful and easy to deal with. "
