"The owner was my guardian angel and I'm so grateful for him! !! I got left in Lake Placid during a bus trip to Niagaa Falls and I ended up in the ER for 12 hours. I ended up being stuck in town with no ride and the only bus route for the weekend wouldve been a 20 hour ride for 4 hrs of distance. I had no money until I got paid the following day. He gave me the room until my check hit the bank which was so kind of him!! Most people wouldn't have hltthe chance"

"We stayed in the lushna suite and it was a very relaxing stay! It was very clean and comfortable, and a short walk into town. A perfect spot to stay for exploring lake placid and hiking!"

"Overall a very good 2-day stay. Check‐in was ok. The elevators were out of order. So we had to use the service elevators. But the check-in itself was very easy. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to provide great service. We had a room on Main street. So it was a bit noise, especially when the garbage truck picked up garbage. I suggest trying to get a room on the parking lot side. The location was great- near everything!"

"The grounds are just beautiful . We loved our connecting rooms, and the beds were so comfortable. Just note there are no TV’s in the room and we had no cell service but the WiFi is excellent. The complimentary coffee and hot cocoa were delightful."
