Courtyard by Marriott San Jose Airport Alajuela

"Clean rooms, front desk personnel very helpful also the dining area is very nice and attentive"
Radisson San Jose-Costa Rica
"The rooms and bathrooms are large. The food in every restaurant is good. Nice full sized gym access. Nice pool area with a hot Jacuzzi. What makes this hotel stand out for us is the staff. Everyone on staff from top to bottom is always ready to help and to make sure your stay is comfortable. The reception staff especially this visit of Angie, Daniel, Kate and the two guys at concierge (Edgar y ???) made this visit even more special. They took great care of us over our five day stay. Not to forget to mention the breakfast staff especially Christian and Jerry and Priscilla who helped us make sure we had what we needed even when my wife could not come down for the breakfast buffet."

"We stayed here for the second arm of our vacation. The pool areas were well-maintained. The landscape of biodiversity created a rainforest vibe. The lobby was open and furniture was well situated for lounging around. Clean rooms but outdated with a hint of opulence- so I was not too bothered by the old fashioned decor. The breakfast was average, and lean towards meat lovers and limited vegetarian options. There were no eggs on the buffet, so if you wanted eggs, you have to wait in line to order it. One night, we decided to dine at the buffet, but a 1 minute look at the food items, we decided to eat elsewhere. Another night we decided to get room service, but the hotel phone were inoperable so I had to walk to the lobby area to order. I order seafood rice and it was awful. Big chunks of crab shells (almost chipped a few teeth). The staff was friendly. The shuttle ride to the airport was efficient. The hotel was a bit further from the city center and not many restaurants that you can walk too."

"$8USD for a bag of chips in the commissary is just wild"
DoubleTree by Hilton Cariari - San Jose Costa Rica
"My stay was exceptional from beginning to end. The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and every detail reflects the care and pride the staff takes in creating a memorable experience. My room was spotless, comfortable, and peaceful, making it easy to relax and enjoy my vacation. The staff truly made this stay special. Everyone I encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The level of hospitality exceeded my expectations and made me feel valued throughout my visit. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wonderful variety of fresh, delicious options each morning. I also enjoyed the pool and other amenities, all of which were clean, well-maintained, and inviting. My only recommendation would be to make the spa menu and room service menu available online before arrival. It would be helpful to browse treatment and dining options in advance to better plan a stay. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and a relaxing getaway. I look forward to returning! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
