INNSiDE by Meliá Aachen
"I enjoyed the Steigenberger Hotel and all the restaurants within walking distance."
B&B Hotel Aachen-Hbf
"Walking distance from station Huge triple room Lots of space Comfy beds Typical German breakfast"
Novotel Köln City
"Great place for a family of 5 to stay."

For an affordable trip that allows you to fully appreciate the city’s historical landmarks and cultural attractions, it’s recommended to stay for at least 2 to 3 days. During this time, you can explore key sites that highlight Aachen’s rich heritage, including its impressive architecture and charming countryside settings. This duration offers great value for money, enabling you to immerse yourself in the city’s unique blend of history and culture.

Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring that you’re informed if rooms become available or prices drop. This way, you can seize the opportunity for a spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you find a better deal on your stay in Aachen. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and sometimes offer greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels located near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Aachen's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
