SCAM!
On arrival I was told that there had been problem with my credit card when I booked so I will have to pay cash!!! This was news to me???!!! The paper work that was presented to me by the manager showed a credit card number on that was not mine! Luckily I have my banking app and hotels.com app on my phone, I showed him my credit card statement showing that the payment went through to hotels.com on 10th November and I showed him my booking on the hotels.com app showing that I had paid in full. All he kept on about was that he would get into trouble with his boss if I don't pay. He blamed hotels.com and said that it was my problem to sort out. I refused to pay again and told him that I feel it is a scam to get more money from me. This was not a very enjoyable stay as all I was worried about was trying to get online to prove that I had paid. I tried phoning hotels.com on 021 427 7796 but you cannot speak to anyone or e mail anyone!!!! I will never be returning to Ruby Rose and unless someone from hotels.com contacts me I will never be using them again either !
