Decent Choice in Belem
On the whole, I feel positive about the hotel. Its location is excellent Its located in Belem close to the Jeronimos Monastery, Pastries de Belem, and the Monument of Discovery. The hotel is on the second floor and there is a steep windy staircase that must be used to get to the reception area. The rooms are pretty modern, but small. Front desk staff was very helpful and considerate.

Very nice hotel and good value in great location
Unbeatable location to see the Belem area of Lisbon. Nice hotel; very large room, and nice view. Power access is very good in the room. The water pressure is excellent and gets hot quickly. A few odd things about the bathroom. The shower has doors that shut, but a lot of water ended up on the floor outside. I think the drain was so slow it was overflowing. The bathroom floor drain was also very slow, so half the floor remained flooded after a relatively quick shower. Also no towel bars, hooks, or shelves - very odd! Also no shelf in the shower - everything must sit on the floor. Again, quite odd, and a pretty easy fix that I hope they make. One other negative is there is no lift from the ground floor to reception on the 1st floor. However, from the 1st floor up, there are two lifts! The desk is staffed around the clock and they are quite friendly and helpful.

I was surprised! Newly refurbished great m location with fab view from the third floor. However given 2 stars - I would certainly put it up to 3. I have stayed at 4 star places that have been worse!
