Such a great stay here! The staff were so kind and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the morning breakfast is excellent. The main manager will help you with any need, from extra blankets to laundry-by-order.

Very relaxing stay for 1 night in Cape Town. Massive room, massive comfy bed, big shower, very clean, simple but tasty breakfast, and in a great location a few minutes walk from SeaPoint

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Nice simple accommodation in a nice looking lodge. Location is convenient for walking to V&A / Green Point / Sea Point.

Nice location in Green Point. The parking situation is quite tricky, as it's all on/next to the main road (the security guard is very helpful with this though).
The staff at reception were very friendly, however they didn't really go out of their way to accommodate requests, namely:
1) We asked for a King bed in our booking, but got 2 doubles, when we raised this we were told we could just push them together and it's the same (it's not)
2) The TV remote batteries were flat, when we raised this we were told we could bring the remote down or some batteries up ourselves, instead of this being handled by the staff for us (would expect a bit more from a 4 star establishment).
Also found the coffee from their machine in the eating area was really not great, they should probably look at calibrating it or changing their beans or something.

Amazing staff, amazing breakfast, very nicely renovated facilities and central location. Was here only for a short stay but had a great experience. Best sleep i’ve had since i got here. will definitely stay again next time i’m in capetown.

Great first stay at Head South Lodge!
Very much enjoyed my first stay at Head South Lodge! The guesthouse is in a great location - close to Sea Point and the promenade along the water, but also 20-30 min walk to V&A Waterfront and a quick 10 min Uber to City Bowl. Bed was very comfortable, WiFi worked well, they have secure parking in front of the guesthouse. All of the staff were so kind, felt very safe here, and excellent breakfasts. I will be back!

Great location - a short walk to the promenade by Green Point lighthouse.
There is a hot breakfast which is delicious and made to order.
The front terrace is a nice place to sit out in the evenings, and there is an honesty bar.
Place feels secure with a member of staff always on duty by the front gate.
Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Big thanks to Lee :)

Stayed for 12 nights in the deluxe room on the top floor at the back of the property. Found the room to be of very high standard very spacious and very well equipped with more than adequate air conditioning.
I was made to feel very welcome and found the staff extremely helpful I was particularly impressed with the breakfast selection and the general cleanliness
Hotel was particularly suited for my needs as it was a great location for all the connections to the tourist excursions. In summary, I found my whole experience during my stay to be most comfortable and in my opinion value for money.
Has a solo traveller I couldn't recommend this establishment highly enough.

Customer service was excellent, and hotel staff were accommodating and beyond friendly. Our room had a pleasant balcony, and we easily Ubered from the hotel to wherever we needed to go in the city. Breakfast buffet and the coffee options were also excellent!:) We did struggle with not being able to contact the lodge on our way in (we tried reaching out through the Expedia app but got no response), as we hoped for airport pickup or transportation suggestions. Unfortunately we did not hear back and ended up getting massively ripped off by a taxi who charged us about 4x the normal rate. Our advice: uber uber uber!!
