A great surprise!

We decided to stay here based on the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The room is super clean and the whole property well taken care of. The man at the front desk that checked us in was so friendly and we could tell they appreciate their guests. This is an older property that has been updated. The price was great and almost half the price of the chain hotels down the road. It feels nostalgic and was great for an overnight stay on our way to the beach. You will not be disappointed.

The family who owns this property is wonderful! When I texted him, they were super professional, friendly, personable, and seemed to really care. The room works much larger than I thought it would be with nice furnishings, and you can’t beat the price.

Very clean

It’s an older motel but very clean. The owners at this little motel are the sweetest and so kind. It doesn’t have all the amenities like a large hotel but if you’re looking for just a place to lay down and rest, it’s very quiet and again very clean. I will definitely be staying again when I’m back in Perry next month

A Great Deal for the Price

Based on the Hotels.com reviews we booked a one night stay at the Royal Inn Motel. The Hampton Inn, the Holiday Inn, and the Royal Inn Motel all received an 8.6 review rating, with the Royal Inn have more reviews than the other two. Based on the low price, $70 less than the Holiday and Hampton Inns, we assumed the Royal would provide a basic level accommodation, and it did. Saying that however, our room was exceptionally clean, the bed firm and very comfortable, and the shower had the highest water pressure that I can remember ever experiencing. On top of the above, I highly recommend taking a few minutes to speak with the proprietor. Our conversation was both funny and informative. All in all a great stop. We would certainly stay there again.
