Excellent location, safe, clean room and helpful employees. It's a downtown location so the lobby is narrow and the carpets are worn out- not a complaint.merely an observation. Multiple restaurants at walking distance with a Chipotle right next to the lobby area. Happy with the breakfast timing ( 6 am to 10 am) and options provided.

This hotel is in excellent spot in downtown Chicago. Although the staff are very friendly and welcoming, but the management and owners need to pay attention to maintenance of this wonderful place. The A/C units are old and make extremely loud noise and need to be replaced with more efficient and less noisy units. The carpet is run down and needs to be replaced. The couches in the rooms as well as breakfast area are old and need to be replaced. Overall, this is a great hotel, but the owners needs to reinvest the money in this property before it is too late.

Dont be fooled by the outdated lobby and waiting area. Booked 2 City View King Suites. AMAZING views!! Rooms are cozy and clean. The mini kitchen is an extra plus (fridge, micro-way, stove & the necessities to cook a meal if you wanted to. No issues (wait time) with elevators getting to the 30th floor. Breakfast from 6-10am. The standard eggs, waffles, bagels etc. The gym needs to be updated BUT must checkout for the view of the lake! Pool was closed but I believe it closes for the season. The manager, 1 cleaning lady & the bell attendant working on 9/28 were amazing!! The front dest person (male) checking us in was a stickler for checking in at 4pm. Was suggested that we try the manager and he had no issues getting us checked in early. The male night time attendant on 10/1 was angry & rude. Great location!! Walking distance to everything, shopping, food, site seeing & nite life! Hospital is really close by so you hear sirens through the day/night. Walking late at night was a bit scary but that was in all areas of downtown. I would so stay here again!!

Housekeeping was very poor , we had to request simple things like towels , coffee as they weren’t put in the room every day . The room wasnt cleaned properly , and only one of the rooms was cleaned one day . Dirty towels not removed from room for 24hrs , had to buy cleaning stuff and clean myself Also it’s not listed that this hotel is right beside major hospitals , so the sirens and helicopters landing during the night , every night meant we never got a full nights sleep in the 10 nights we stayed . Breakfast - Did the job , but at times the staff were just horrible , shouting at people and being downright rude
