The location is AMAZING! It's right in the heart of Old Town. Bars, restaurants and shops at every turn! If you are someone who isn't going to be staying in the room all day, then this one is good for the price. You can't beat the location. It's self check in and the machine wasn't working so we had to call the number listed and someone gave us the codes over the phone.

Excellent location, in the town center (Altstadt), near the river. Many restaurants in immediate location and ferris wheel. Convenient to subway. (Can be a little noisy at night, but that goes with the territory) Great concept!

This was a disaster....TV didn't work, WiFi didn't work, no response to requests to repair. Small face towels instead of bath towels. Heating system terrible....boil or freeze. Curtains leave you exposed to view from adjacent buildings.

Stay inside oldtown
Stayed in the hotel for a night. The location is delightful and right by the oldtown though it comes w/ some level of noise (music, etc) till pretty late but I found that by using an ear plugs I could get a pretty good sleep :)

Clean and modern
Difficult to find by car. Hotel is located right in the centre of aldstadt. There is no parking close by and nearest parking is very expensive. Very modern and clean. Reception staff friendly. Although our room was non smoking, as soon as you step out into the corridor there is a constant smell of cigarettes. Floorboards in the room were very noisy! Our room was next door to reception and we could hear everyone checking in and out but noise from nearby clubs and bars didn't bother us. Kitchenette and tea and coffee making facilities much appreciated. There is also a fridge. Many bars and restaurants close by.

Central apartments in Dusseldorf
The apartments were a great size, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the apartments are in a busy part of town and some people may complain of the noise it is the perfect location for getting around and we did not find the hustle and bustle a problem at all, if anything it was a bonus to be in such a central location. There is no lift is this concerns some people but the hotel only covers 3 floors, we were on the 2nd floor. The usual towels and soap etc are supplied but each room had a little kitchenette with a fridge so I would recommend taking or buying some supplies for a cup of tea/coffee and some snacks for breakfast. Would definitely book this place again for our next trip to Dusseldorf

Lovely apartment for the weekend. Clean towels everyday. It's on a street full of bars and restaurants and shops so you don't have to travel far. In the evening it can be a little noisy if your windows are open but it didn't stop us sleeping. Definitely recommend.

GO anywhere ELSE!
I travel for a living, and spend ~250 days out of the year in hotels. Never have I been treated as poorly as I was in this hotel. To start, it is a dirty hotel, with lots of stairs to the reception, which is basically a small office off a dark holiday. From there, things got worse. My company was in town for the Medica, and had multiple rooms booked down the road. I booked one room here, for one night, just in case we needed another. At one point in the weeks leading up, I questioned the need to have this room, and sent a message through Orbitz, to the hotel, asking about the cancellation policy. I never heard anything back. We assumed we still had the room, and ended up needing it. Upon arrival, not only was I told that the room was cancelled, but they had no rooms. They also refused to show me any documentation showing that they received my question, and cancelled without answering me. It was a mess, and I bunked with a colleague. I was told that the refund would come from Orbitz, but it never came. Today, I called Orbitz again and was told the hotel was now saying they kept the money, there was no cancellations allowed, even though the manager at the time said they had refunded Orbitz. I then called the manager, and he could not have been more rude. After his 3rd “whatever,” I had enough. I am putting AMEX on the case now, but after staying in hundreds of hotels, I can say I found the pinnacle of unprofessional, dirty hotels.

Central location
The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. We stayed on a Tuesday in June. It was very hot but with the windows open the room cooled. There is no A/C or even a fan. With the windows open however, the noise from the street was extremely loud. The hotel offered ear plugs. The noise subsided around 3 am and I was able to fall asleep. With the windows closed the noise was significantly muffled but the room was extremely hot. With the windows open, the room cooled off but was too noisy for me to fall asleep.
