Bournemouth West Cliff Hotel & Spa
"We have just left the hotel. From very friendly staff at reception, bar and spar nothing was a problem. The spar is a hidden gem. And we booked through Hotels.com and got the 5 days for half price! Bonus! We used it every day. Only eaten once in restaurant and Happy hour at the Bar, well happy 3 hours! 4-7. Would definitely visit again."
Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel
"Really enjoyable stay at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond throughout our stay. A special thank you for allowing my decorator early access to prepare the room for my wife’s birthday surprise, as well as kindly storing her birthday cake in the fridge until it was needed — those little touches were really appreciated. The outdoor pool was lovely, but the highlight has to be the location — being so close to Bournemouth beach was fantastic. Overall, a great stay and a memorable birthday trip!"

Royal Bath Hotel
"Good good very good"
Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth
"Decent hotel. Some stuff I didn’t like, There’s no fridge in the room. Bathroom can use a better/longer shower curtain/divider not to make the whole bathroom wet, and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom."
Sea Stone Hotel
"Staff very helpful. Room bright and airy but was not serviced. I had to ask and it was unfortunately thrown together at the last minute. Breakfast was ok, bar area was clean and tidy. Shame no chef for the evening dinner. The hotel suited us well but it’s looking tired."
Brooklands Hotel
"For a 3 star hotel i found it to be perfectly good for my short 3 night stay, the staff were, friendly & approachable, they handled all my requests with ease & my room was clean & tidy when I was handed the key with all the appliances in perfect working order. Even though the room could have used some fixing up in areas But I'd be silly to demand perfection Overall a good place for a solo traveller & I'd happily return"
Village Hotel Bournemouth
"I booked this last minute as the original hotel i booked wasn’t good. Rooms clean, beds comfortable and i liked the fact they have an onsite bar and restaurant, i was travelling on my own so this was ideal."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Bournemouth
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Bournemouth is in January, February, and November, when hotel rates may drop and offer lower prices on a budget. A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring Bournemouth's key landmarks, history, and culture, including its beach, friendly people, surfing, entertainment, gardens, coral reefs, bar, swimming, and family-friendly sea attractions. This approach ensures great value for money while appreciating the town’s rich heritage.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Bournemouth, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on accommodations close to your travel date. You could also enable email alerts or push notifications to receive updates on flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions, ensuring you stay informed about potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best options available. This way, if prices drop or rooms become available, you'll be the first to know and can book your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could assist you in finding a more favourable rate for your stay in a Bournemouth hotel. For those in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and, at times, greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we might suggest alternative dates that could potentially offer a more attractive rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Bournemouth’s excellent public transport connections, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further out that is still well connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
