Disappointing, not "GOOD"
Very basic place and for 20 dollars a night it is overpriced. Pillows and bedding were old and disgusting. Can smell sewage in some rooms because of poor drainage system, and saw a good-sized most universally disliked insect scattering around in the room. Sheets don't feel so clean either. Dripping water from AC and shower didn't drain well, but got fixed after telling them. Mouldy AC. Unusable WiFi. You have to tell them if you want your room cleaned. Music from the bar at ground level in the evening so not quiet. Staff is friendly and will try to help when you want something. It is strange this place is rated 7 on this website. On another famous website it is rated 4.4, which is more accurate. I would avoid using this website from now on.

Room was dirty, sheets were stained. Toilet flushed half of the time and was constantly leaking water all over the floor. Doors had very large gaps all around edges not letting room cool down. Security latch on front door broken. Wifi signal poor. You can get so much more with your money in Bali

Affordable place to stay
I stayed at this hotel for 6 days. First night, I was allocated a room at L3. The room was simple. However, there was no hot shower. I checked out the next day to proceed to Tulamben for dive. Returned on the 3rd day and checked in was swift and hotel staffs were friendly. They could even recognized us. Breakfast at this hotel was great! There were several options to choose from and you just have to place your order and the chef will prepare them on the spot. The room was clean and amenities were basic - aircon works too well - too cold at night, 2 bottles of water were given daily, there was a mini fridge, however, no kettle for boiling hot water but u can get hot water from the water dispenser at the reception. Daily change of towel.

Staff were fantastic, room was very run down, clean but grungy. Sheets were freshly washed but old and stained. Mothballs in bathroom to cover up sewer smell. In the price vs value department I would book again for a quick night or two only if substantially cheaper. I am back in the area 4 days later and for very little extra money have a substantially better room.

OK for the price but a little run down
Front door to the room had a large gap in it, not very private. Breakfast was not good at all. Room itself was a good size, good to have a fridge & kettle. Hotel looks a little run down and parts of the room looked dirty but I think it was more from age rather than not being cleaned often. Staff were helpful and it is a good location. Stated free bicycle rental but we got charged. OK for a night or 2 but spend a little more & go elsewhere if staying in Sanur longer.

Budget hotel close to the beach
We had a 4 night stay at Kokoro. Had thought there was a pool for some reason, but alas, no, but 5 minute walk down the lane way and you were at the beach. Great location near many restaurants and warungs. Very friendly, helpful staff. We had a room on the 3rd floor, which was ok, comfortable, spacious, had average wifi and tv with some cable channels. Breakfast included, basic but ok. Has a japanese restaurant and spa facilities, but didn't use either. Was able to check in early and they had storage facility for our luggage on check out.

Pleasant stay and friendly staff
I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of February in a triple room with my mum and brother. The hotel staff were very friendly throughout the duration of our stay. The room was basic, but clean, quiet and comfortable and a decent size. The bathroom smelt a little bit and there was no hot water, but when you are only paying £10-£15 a night you can't expect a 5*. We were given complimentary water each morning and there were 6 breakfast choices each day. The hotel is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach and very close to the Power of Oasis yoga studio and Aroma Spa. If you are in Sanur for a few nights and just need somewhere to lay your head at night while you are exploring during the day then this hotel is very affordable and comfortable.

Ooops i did it again
By the time writing we stayed there a second time for a couple of nights. This hotel is a great place to stay in Kuta for a low price and decent quality. Not comparable to high class hotels of course, but you get real value for the money you pay. We will probably stay go there again on our way back home, when we have to stay 1 night in Bali.

Hotel room with cockroaches
I stayed in room 106 on the ground floor for 14 days which is behind the Kitchen, when I first opened the door to my room I seen cockroaches running around, eventually, they all took off under the bed. I requested the staff to spray the room while I went for a walk and got a cold beer, I requested the staff to spray the room every other day as the little blighters kept coming back. I had to continually request for my sheets to be changed and for the floors to be cleaned, which the staff did without a grumble so I did not complain. The hotel is ok for say 2 nights but for no longer, do not stay on the ground floor as you will hear all the noises from the kitchen and its staff, there is one guy from the kitchen who clears the back of his throat with some vigor every morning between 6 and 6.30am not a nice noise ton wake up to. The hotel is close to the beach and a 5 star hotel next door which you can use their facilities for US$15.00 day per person which includes a beach towel, sunbed and use of their pool and gym, this was my Saviour during my stay.
