Poor
Filthy towels with browns spots on the bath towels and blood on the hand towels. Bed sheets were dirty. No receptionist or staff on site. Would not recommend to the local homeless guy.

Old property. We paid $458 for 1 night! I was not told I’d have to share a bathroom down the hall! Sheet were stained. Horrible stuff mattress. Creaky. Hated it! Room was 10x10. Small and cramped. Tiny tv, Wall mounted. Noisy all night. I need my money back. Worst hotel experience ever. I’ve stayed in 5* hotels at $458 a night!!! WTH! Went to checkout at 8am. No was there. They only man the front desk at 9:30 am onwards. Why call yourself a hotel??!

Be sure to ask for the internet password when you check in. Otherwise you are liable to find the front desk closed. The password is unavailable in your room. Rooms and bathrooms lack adequate ventilation, Rooms and TV's are small.

Avoid at all costs
SHARED BATHROOM. Not in any universe is this hotel worth the price. It’s one thing to be tried and horribly maintained but it’s another to be dirty. Just avoid it. Shared bathroom not clearly disclosed. Very uncooperative and unprofessional management. Again, just avoid it.

Good
The restaurant for breakfast was very cute and homey. It lacks cleanliness. And I didn't realize when I booked this room that the bathroom was a common bathroom outside my bedroom. There was no phone in my bedroom, but strangely enough, there were instructions on how to use the phone.

Quaint but dated!
We were here for 4 days. Fortunately we were upgraded to a larger room due to an issue with the first room. Also, The first room was so small that we had no room on the floor for our luggage. It would have been a rough 4 days. Also there is limited outlets to plug electronics into. It is a great location with restaurants and wineries nearby that we were able to walk there. I think they definitely need to upgrade and remodel their rooms.

The office was locked most of the first day. The TV in the room was minute. The room was small and we didn’t have our own bathroom. The WiFi was non existent. I would like to request a partial refund.

Ghost service
It was a different kind of experience. No receptionist as the place was close and I called a numbers posted on the door to get find out the hidden key place. Got ourselves in and found out there was no bathroom in our room it was a comunal bathroom. We were lucky as we did not see anyone in the place going in or out. But I thought we had a breakfast included but there was none in the place.

Needing a Facelift
The area of Saint Helena is pretty. Although the hotel is expectedly old, the rooms are not well kept with paint on paint on paint, cracks, cramped spaces, needing a serious facelift. Some of the staff is less than helpful, with limited reception hours.
