Pier House

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent, excellent and excellent is what I would like to say about our stay at this wonderful hotel. I have been to Charlestown before but never stayed. We have a medium sized dog (Sid) that we take everywhere with us, we know that most hotels nowadays are dog friendly but here was (in my opinion) above and beyond. There was a lovely doggy bag in our room with two ceramic bowls a rubber mat, dog treats and a tennis ball which Sid loved. All of the staff were first class and couldn’t be more helpful. The room was great with a comfortable mattress and pillows. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel and I thought that the food was very good, we had the sirloin steak which was cooked just right and I thought priced well. The breakfast selection was very good and well cooked and presented. Would I stay there again,ABSOLUTELY."

Bradleigh Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"What an amazing find!! Martin & Lyn made us feel so welcome and are natural hosts. Super comfy king size bed, a luxurious bathroom (deep free-standing tub & wet room with an amazing shower!), and lots of small touches that set this B&B apart: chocs on the freshly made bed each morning, free bottled water, free delicious coffee, USB sockets by your bed, etc. The attention to detail that Martin & Lyn have put into their decor is wonderful, the whole vibe is eclectic luxury. If you book I can guarantee you’ll enjoy it, this is the best B&B we’ve stayed at. Thanks for sharing your home with us x"

The Waterwheel Inn

10/10 Excellent
"The Waterwheel Inn was exceptional. We had a garden suite which opened straight out onto the amazing gardens and a small double room. Both were decorated nicely and kept clean. Breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory and was excellent with good choices and nice touches like home-made jams and granola. We ate in the restaurant for dinner several times and had great food every time. Staff were helpful whilst being unobtrusive. Our only suggestion is to advertise the vegan options better as they catered really well for vegans but it was on request rather than being clear on menus."

10/10 Excellent
"Sam & Roy the hosts are most welcoming, the hotel sits atop the highest point of Mevagissy overlooking the spectacular bay, there is a room with seating arranged to take full advantage of the view. The hotel is perfectly placed to use as a base for coastal walks and famous local attractions. Breakfasts are generous and freshly prepared, simple food is available in the evening with plenty of local hostelries to pick for an evening out. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Mevagissy Bay Hotel if you are considering a stay in the area."
